Come see us debut many new songs and possibly a few old favorites this Friday at JR's in South Philly. We have about twenty new songs and countless old ones to pick from but will narrow it down to a stream-lined set to blow yr ears and mind. Also we are playing with our good friends Cannons who are totally badass. Its going to be a great show and is but the first of many, as we will be very active in the ensuing months prepping for the release of our new material. Don't expect us to dwell on our old stuff. We have a lot of awesome new tunes to play for you and that is exactly what we intend to do. We'll see you there and will have our full back catalog of merch on hand. Rawk!

Work Tapes cover

Thinking Machines returned in 2010 with "Work Tapes", their highly anticipated follow up to "A Complete Record of Urban Archaeology". Once again a 4-piece, their guitar onslaught is expanded and more dynamic, conjuring the ghosts of Indie, Spacerock, Shoegaze, Metal and New Wave guitar heroes. The rhythm section locks in more than ever before with syncopated beats, math-rock timings and low- end heaviness. This is a rock album with no gimmicks, straight forward, overdriven and prepped for a car stereo barreling down a highway off a bridge and into the sea.
